Operations Manager · 30+ years in glass
Every step of it: helper, installer, fabricator, foreman, superintendent. He runs the field crews and the shop, and deals with customers and general contractors himself.
Most people call a glass company once every few years, usually because something has broken or stopped working, and usually in a hurry. Nobody expects you to know what tempered means, or why one shower door costs twice what another does. Making that call easy is the job.
We have been doing it from the same Arlington shop since 1995, when Darren and Tammy Witherspoon opened as Paradise Glass & Mirror. Twenty-five years in the building we are in today.
What started as mirror and shower work for houses grew into commercial glazing, and the larger half of the business is now work that general contractors across Dallas–Fort Worth put out to bid. Retail centers and tenant fit-outs, school and university campuses, hospitals, churches, offices, hotels and military bases — storefront systems, entrances and hardware, curtain wall and architectural glass. Multifamily is the work we are best known for and most often sought out for, and it sits alongside all of it rather than above it.
That matters at home more than it sounds. The tolerances a curtain wall demands are the reason a frameless door in your bathroom closes cleanly, and keeps closing.
We estimate, fabricate and install with our own people. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor you have never met, and whoever measures your opening works for the same company as whoever fits the glass. The price is written down and itemised before anything is cut.
The people who will handle your job, and what each of them brings to it.
Operations Manager · 30+ years in glass

Estimator and Project Manager · 23 years in glass
He fabricated and installed storefront and curtain wall in the field for over a decade before he ever priced a job. He also buys the glass and hardware, so the number you are given is built from what the material really costs.
Residential and Commercial Sales · 20+ years in glass
Over twenty years selling glass on both sides of the business, so a homeowner with a fogged window and a contractor with a bid package get the same person. Usually the first person you will speak to.
Owner · 25+ years in glass, construction and manufacturing
Twenty-five years on teams that built new manufacturing facilities and expanded existing ones — large projects, hard schedules, and close work with owners, contractors and trades. He runs Paradise the way those projects are run: priced in detail, scheduled properly, and answered quickly.
